Pimlico Academy
Pimlico Academy forms the hub of Future Teacher Training and houses our in person training throughout the year. It is a thriving diverse community housed in a spectacular building within walking distance of the Thames. This flagship academy offers trainees a wealth of experiences in a broad subject spectrum including Maths, Drama and Latin, where it also proudly hosts The Latin Centre of Excellence.
Phoenix Academy
Phoenix Academy illustrates the power of having wonderful trainees and the impact that excellent teaching can have on a school community. Phoenix Academy is now the highest performing in the Trust, and offers trainees not only outstanding training opportunities but showcases the capacity that Future Teacher Training alumni hold. This is demonstrated here by over 50% of staff coming through our SCITT.
Trinity Academy
Trinity Academy hosts a vibrant and diverse community in Brixton, just minutes from the Victoria line. Trinity Academy is undertaking a journey of improvement and is working to better the life chances of their students. For trainees at Trinity, teaching becomes a true vocation, with alumni becoming part of the rich fabric of the community through not only providing rich and challenging lessons but powerful pastoral care for their students. Trinity is looking for trainees who are committed to the cause and want to support young people to be their very best.
Barclay Academy
One of the best schools in the north Hertfordshire area, this well-established large secondary school offers a spectacular range of subjects to train in with a community of trainees. Barclay has particular strengths in its curriculum design and curriculum breadth and boasts opportunities for trainees across key stages 3,4 and 5.
Laureate Academy
A long-established stalwart of the Hemel education landscape, Laureate is immensely proud of its own journey to being a Good school 2023, with areas of particular strength include the leadership of the school and the exciting innovations developing in the curriculum and implementation of this. Laureate is also undergoing an impressive new building, a real treat for trainees to experience.
The Grange Academy
Another impressive new building, with particularly impressive science and sports facilities located in the green commuter town of Bushey. This thriving academy offers trainees the opportunity to join a flourishing group of staff who are dedicated to ensuring that students get the very best from their education.
Future Academies Watford
This newly built secondary school offers the chance for trainees to join a team of inspiring teachers who are working to address educational disadvantage in this area. Under new and dynamic leadership, Watford offers trainees the opportunity for trainees to learn how to teach whilst being part of this school’s improvement journey.
