Webinars
These online events will be an excellent opportunity to meet one of our programme leaders, find out more about us, the training we deliver, and hear from teachers who have successfully undergone the programme.
Each event will include:
- A presentation about our programme
- The opportunity to ask questions and speak to a programme leader and, where possible, to speak to a member of our Future Teacher Training alumni

Events take place via Microsoft Teams and a joining link will be emailed out to all participants 24-48 hours before the event is due to take place.
School Event: Personalised School Visit
If you are interested in applying for one of our teacher training courses, we can arrange a visit to one of our Future Academies schools. This is a great opportunity to experience school life and gain a clearer understanding of the school-based training you’ll receive during your year with us.
Your visit will aim to include:
- A tour of the school
- Observing lessons to see learning in action
- The opportunity to meet with a current trainee placed or member of our alumni, now employed at the school
- The opportunity to ask questions and speak to one of our SCITT programme leaders or school leaders
- A tour of the school (with potential to see some learning in action)

School Event: Open Morning Recruitment Events
We run a number of local open morning recruitment events within our placement schools during the academic year. These onsite events will take a similar format to our webinar events above but with the added benefit of gaining an insight into one of our placement schools and seeing part of the school day in action through an organised tour of the school site.
Each event will include:
- A warm welcome and presentation from the school
- A presentation about our ITT programme
- The opportunity to ask questions and speak to one of our SCITT programme leaders, senior leaders of the school, current trainee placed or alumni member now employed at the school
- A tour of the school (with potential to see some teaching in action)
